This week Pitch In was blessed with two wonderful holiday celebrations.

On Tuesday, 5th grade students presented their project on holiday traditions in a variety of countries that they previously studied. Throughout the month we focused on a holiday theme complete with reading The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, a trip to the Pitch In store to shop for someone else and a stocking craft!

Students and families enjoyed dinner from Inspiration Kitchen and at the end of the evening students went home with a bag filled with presents thanks to JP Morgan Chase and stockings from our mentors at Draper and Kramer!

Our 4th graders students had an awesome experience creating their Chicago landmark models with various materials. Wednesday students gave their final presentation including some history about their landmark and fun facts!

Thank you all for contributing to a special evening for our Pitch In students and families!

Special thanks to our friends at Sloan Valve for providing staff gifts for LCA!
