Living in the city has its perks, but sometimes a little break from the city lights does the body good. This is why our Pitch In team winner prize was a trip to the Garfield Park Conservatory, one of the largest conservatories in the nation!
The kids enjoyed a stroll through the different plant houses and ooo’d and ahh’d at all the greenery and fish. They even took off their coats and relished in the heat and warmth that contrasted harshly with the cold winter Chicago air they’ve grown accustomed to these last few months.
