20 K for 20 Ks Raffle
On May 6, 1998, Cubs legend, Kerry Wood, pitched one of the best games in MLB history. Woody became the youngest player to accomplish striking out 20 players, also tying a major league record. He eventually won “Rookie of the Year” honors and has become a legendary name with Chicago Cubs fans for his efforts on and off of the field.
2018 marks the 20th Anniversary of the electric 20K Game, and to celebrate, the Wood Family Foundation is hosting a raffle and a special, limited-time promotion to support its work in Chicago’s North Lawndale neighborhood.
