Pitch In month two is all about healthy eating, the new food pyramid, the food groups within it and healthy meal planning. Week 1 students learned about new foods and that it can take up to 10 tries to know if you really like something! Our next session together students mad veggie superheroes and continued to try new fruits and vegetables. Each Pitch In student also created  their own turkey to express what they are thankful for! We can’t wait for week 4 with Purple Asparagus!
