On Wednesday Jan. 10th, Pitch In hosted a New Year’s event to celebrate our amazing mentors. The dedication and love they put into Pitch In and its students is something to marvel at, and so we did! Mentors from all grades came together to eat delicious food, swap mentee stories and get to know each other. Kerry gave a heart warming toast full of appreciation for our Pitch In mentors reassuring them their mentorship is so very important and that Pitch In would not be possible without them. A toast and introduction was also given by our new Executive Director Laura!
As the evening came to an end and everyone started saying their goodbyes, the Pitch In team had one more thing to gift our mentors; a gift bag full of goodies! Before 2017 ended we had every student in Pitch In write a letter of appreciation to their mentors and we put them in their goodie bags.
Thank you SO much for all the love you put into Pitch In! We are so thankful for our amazing mentors!
